Our Cacao Farmers
The Cacao Ambassador, our Cacao sourcing Mama, works on the ground in the Solomon Islands, PNG, Bougainville and Vanuatu.
Imperative prior to buying Cacao from any community, is the invitation for the Cacao farmers to first have their own Cacao. As hard as it is to believe, all Pacific Cacao farmers outside of Samoa, have never consumer their own Cacao, not even put a bean into their mouth, or know that Cacao is what is in milo which they are drink as a treat.
Our first engagement with communities is to say thank you, to acknowledge their hard work, and then share with them the truth of Cacao and how it is first for them, their health, their community and then it is for their true Wealth. This is where it all begins, returning the gift and powder of Cacao back into their hands.
The Cacao Ambassador works directly with leading organisations through the Pacific, alongside being on the ground directly with the farming communities. Cathliro of the Solomon Island, Queen Emma PNG to source the finest cacao beans directly from our farmers.
