The Cacao Embassy Australia

Opened in December 2024, The Cacao Embassy Australia is an extension of the global vision and community of The Cacao Ambassador. 

A physical presence in Australia, as a true voice for the Cacao farmers of the Pacific, bringing to Australia the purest Pacific Cacao & chocolate possible, to inspire, open hearts and support true change.

At the heart of what we do is the growing of vibrant Cacao communities, through immersive Cacao workshops and experiences.
 
Alongside this, we offer powerfully activated Pacific Cacao and chocolate products, where all farming communities who grow this Cacao are part of our community on every level.
 
We welcome you with our whole hearts to a space that is for you, for your unique journey with Cacao and bringing you in direct connection with the farming communities who grow this Pacific Cacao.

 

The Cacao Ambassador 

The Cacao Ambassador (TCA) is our Big Mama, who works directly with cacao farmers across the Pacific region. TCA's unwavering commitment lies in the empowerment of all Cacao farmers of the Pacific to thrive. Not one blanket approach rather adapting and fully meeting each community in what is required for thriving to be the outcome.

TCA lovingly and passionately oversees every step of the cacao offered at the Cacao Embassy Australia. From the flower to the pod, to the tree, to the farmer, to the village, to the shipper, to the crafter and the final product. This requires being on the ground in the Pacific every few months, ensuring all is cared for, for all to thrive. The work of The Cacao Ambassador is beyond fair trade certifications, rather it is ground breaking in the authenticity that is possible when Cacao farming communities are put first and the on-the-ground connection with farmers, villages, and every individual involved in the process coming first.

The Cacao Embassy Australia Guardians 

Tina, Joel and son Spencer

Tina's journey with cacao began many years ago, where she discovered its profound impact on her personal growth and spiritual exploration. As a body worker and psychosomatic therapist, she has incorporated cacao into her practice, sharing its transformative power with others through workshops, and one-on-one sessions.

Her passion for cacao led her to Oonagh, the founder of The Cacao Ambassador. Inspired by Oonagh's deep connection to cacao and its ancient wisdom, Tina embarked on a transformative journey. In 2022, she participated in the Emissary training program and in 2023 had the privilege of traveling to the Solomon Islands with Oonagh and other cacao enthusiasts.

Experiencing cacao's origins firsthand, surrounded by lush rainforest and working alongside local farmers, deepened Tina's understanding and appreciation for this sacred plant. 

Together with Oonagh and The Cacao Ambassador, Tina, her partner Joel and son Spencer opened the first Cacao Embassy outside of New Zealand with a mission to share the gift of cacao with the Australian community, offering opportunities for education, connection, and transformation.

 

Joel's journey with cacao began through Tina's work, but it was a gradual awakening. A true connection formed when Tina brought home her first Cacao Ambassador cacao, enjoying an evening cup of Cacao with a dash of maple syrup and milk.

Joel's true Cacao love blossomed when he discovered the extraordinary taste of real chocolate through his first encounter with Weave. Captivated by the depth of flavor and the simplicity of ingredients — cacao, cacao butter, and sugar — Joel embarked on his own chocolate-making adventures. He continues to experiment with creating his own bean-to-bar chocolate, deepening his appreciation for this ancient elixir.

Together with Tina, Joel and their Cacao loving son Spencer, are excited to bring The Cacao Embassy dream to life in Australia.

20% of the Cacao Embassy Australia is owned by Ū Cacao, a charitable trust, which is the voice of Cacao in this business, to ensure the integrity and authenticity of all that is possible through Cacao is manifest. 
It is an imperative part of the integrity of doing what is right and true first for Cacao, our Cacao farming communities of the Pacific and for you, our Cacao loving community.
